Zen Window Cleaning (ABN 49855848173) respects your privacy. This policy outlines how I collect, use, and protect your personal information.
What I Collect
When you use my website, request an estimate, or book a service, I may collect your name, phone number, email address, and property address. This information is collected directly from you through my contact forms, online pricing calculator, or when you call me.
How I Use It
I use your personal information to provide quotes and estimates, schedule and deliver my services, communicate with you about your bookings, and send follow-up correspondence related to services you've received. I don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Tools
My website uses Google Analytics for understanding how visitors use the site, Google Maps for location-based features, and form-handling services for contact submissions. These services may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Cookies
My website uses cookies to improve your browsing experience and analyse site traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not function as intended.
Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting me. I'll respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.

By using my website or engaging my services, you agree to the following terms.
Quotes & Estimates
Online estimates are indicative only and based on the information you provide. Final pricing is confirmed after an on-site assessment or detailed discussion. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Minimum service charges apply — $200+GST for window cleaning and $400+GST for pressure cleaning.
Bookings & Cancellations
Once a booking is confirmed, cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled service may be subject to a minimum service charge at my discretion. I reserve the right to reschedule in the event of unsafe weather conditions, and will notify you as soon as possible.
Access & Safety
I reserve the right to decline or modify the scope of work if safe access cannot be achieved. Windows or surfaces that cannot be safely reached will be identified and discussed with you before work begins. I will not clean any surface where doing so would pose a safety risk to me or to your property.
Liability & Insurance
Zen Window Cleaning holds $20M public liability insurance and takes every reasonable precaution to protect your property during service. I use industry-standard techniques, equipment, and cleaning methods appropriate for each surface. However, cleaning can expose or reveal pre-existing issues that aren't visible before work begins. I am not liable for damage caused by or related to, including but not limited to:
- Pre-existing damage, defects, or deterioration — including scratches, chips, cracks, or blemishes present before cleaning that may only become visible once surrounding dirt or grime is removed.
- Scratched or defective glass — I use industry-standard tools and techniques that will not scratch properly manufactured and installed glass. Scratches caused by manufacturing defects, improper handling during installation, or contamination from other trades (such as render, paint, or concrete overspray left on glass) are not the result of my cleaning process. The specific scratch patterns caused by professional window cleaning tools are distinct and identifiable. I am not responsible for pre-existing glass damage revealed or made more visible through cleaning.
- Underspecified or poorly installed fittings — including window seals, screen frames, track fittings, louvre mechanisms, or hardware that fails during normal cleaning due to age, corrosion, poor installation, or materials not fit for purpose.
- Fair wear and tear — including degradation of paint, coatings, sealants, grout, timber, or other materials that have deteriorated over time. Cleaning may accelerate or expose the visible effects of existing deterioration.
- Pressure cleaning specific risks — high and low pressure cleaning can expose underlying issues caused by poor workmanship from other trades. This includes paint applied without proper preparation or unsuitable products, tiles or pavers laid without adequate adhesive or on an insufficient base, waterproofing membranes that have failed or were never properly installed, and render or coatings that have debonded from the substrate. I take every reasonable precaution to assess surfaces before and during work, but some failures cannot be identified until cleaning is underway. Where I identify a risk during the job, I stop and discuss options with you before proceeding.
- Building or structural defects — including water ingress through failed seals, flashing, or waterproofing that is exposed or worsened by the cleaning process. These are building defects, not cleaning damage.
This list is not exhaustive. I am not liable for any damage arising from conditions outside my control, including the quality of materials, workmanship by other trades, or the general condition of your property.
I'm not perfect, and sometimes things go wrong. If I genuinely cause damage to your property through my own error or negligence, I'll take responsibility and make it right. Any concerns about damage must be raised within 24 hours of service completion.
Satisfaction
If you're not happy with any aspect of my work, let me know within 24 hours and I'll come back to make it right. I stand behind the quality of my work.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of service. I accept cash, card, and bank transfer. Payment terms for commercial clients are agreed prior to commencement of work.
